CES 2022: wir stornieren unsere Teilnahme

CES 2022: we cancelled our participation

Due to the current pandemic development, we are canceling our participation as an exhibitor. We do not want to take the risk for employees, partners and customers.

After an extremely successful CES 2020 and a purely digital CES 2021 – which we found rather poor – we had been looking forward to our participation as an exhibitor at the CES 2022 in Las Vegas. Everything was prepared, we had a really outstanding and prominent place for our booth and the trips were booked.

We have now been closely following the development of the pandemic situation for the last few weeks – both here in Germany and in the U.S.. And the decision to cancel our participation as an exhibitor shortly before the start of the event was really not an easy one for us. Especially since we have to write off costs of half a million dollars as a result of the cancellation. Fortunately, this is only half of the planned budget for CES due to the forward-looking planning of our executive board.

Due to the rapid spread of the Omicron variant, it now seems inevitable to us not to expose our employees, partners and potential customers to the incalculable danger.

It’s a shame. Let’s stay optimistic: We look forward to meeting you face-to-face again very soon.

And, despite this rather gloomy news, the – purely digital – media coverage of the CES contains an incredibly positive view of the future for us: Cristiano R. Amon, President and CEO of Qualcomm Inc. – according to Gartner, the fifth largest semiconductor manufacturer in terms of sales in 2020 in the world – belongs to those who say:

Shows once again how much we hit the mark with our products and why we are so in demand at the moment. After all, according to our customers, our digitization technologies are currently unmatched worldwide.

Stay healthy!
