“We are proud and consider this award as recognition of all our hard work and dedication that we put into our technologies every day,” said Norbert Zimmermann, CEO of Scanblue, upon learning of the win.
This high-profile prize is awarded annually and recognizes outstandingly designed products in the “Product Design” category. An international jury of 50 experts individually tests, discusses, and evaluates each submission. The award has been given since 1955 and is considered one of the most well-known design awards worldwide.
“As an architect, good design of our products is naturally close to my heart. After all, we ensure that the operation of our equipment is child’s play for our customers because of the perfect product design,” Zimmermann continued. He also expressed gratitude to the company Golser Industriedesign which developed the design according to Scanblue’s specifications and on their behalf.
